I will be attending. I am not attending because I am a “birther”, I am attending because this is about our republic form of government and the rule of law. It has become obvious over the last few weeks watching these co called debt negotiations. We have lost all control. 80 odd representatives in the house were elected by Teaparty constituents and on a presumption of keeping promises. Not only will they be removed on 2012 we will get a majority in the Senate. We will accomplish this by keeping the movement going. The chain emails, the blogs and forums, and this “Birther Summit” are how we keep the pressure on.
I was at the 9/12 rally, see here. There were many people who would be considered “birthers” there and I am sure the Teaparty people will attend this rally as well. This is not just about Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5, but that certainly is a big one.
The recall process for Nevada.
A Senator maybe recalled for any reason. Number of signatures on a recall petition are 25% of the votes cast in the last election for the official being recalled. Petition must be in circulation for 60 days.
